Hot Wheels Redline Olds 442 Metallic Magenta Original Very Nice 442!
Hot Wheels Redline Olds 442 Metallic Magenta Original Very Nice 442!
SOLD $1,650.00 Sold: Apr 7, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
Available is my Original Hot Wheels Redline Olds 442 in Spectraflame Metallic Magenta with a White Interior. I prefer the "Stripe Delete" option, so it never bothered me that the Stripes are sans on this car. It also has the benefit of not having glue and stickers on the paint for over 50 years. This Olds 442 has a lighter coat of Spectraflame Metallic Magenta. It appears the texture of the metal under the surface of the paint can give the paint finish a slightly different appearance, depending on viewing angle. The Spray on the Passenger Side of the 442 is a little thinner than the Driver's side and has a more translucent appearance to the metal underneath. Either side is still gorgeous...just not identical. The appearance of the top of trunk, roof and hood is somewhere in between, but still flat-out gorgeous! The Spoiler does have some digits on its underside...so, I strongly believe it is original to the car. I obtained this 442 and many of my nicer redlines from a long-time Hot Wheels and toy collector in 1996-1997. The Wheels are terrific! The Base and Engine Bay are also super-nice! As far as paint loss, nicks and chips...it's a very short list! There is a micro on the left edge of the Driver Side Door Handle. There are a couple of micro-flakes on the Rear Window Trim and they don't seem to be visible from all angles. Anything else that shows up in the photos are not visible to my naked eye. There are a few tiny darker spots just above the Left Rear Fender and a couple of micro spots by the left side of the Rear Spoiler, very hard to see, even with my iphone camera. This Olds 442 has always been one of the crown jewels of my collection! The color of the car presents very honestly in the photos and it can appear a little lighter or darker, depending on the lighting and viewing angle. I tried to get photos from all angles. My iphone tends to have a very revealing nature in taking pictures of small Hot Wheels, so things you can see on the big screen are either much less visible or not noticeable at all to the naked eye. Please check my eBay Feedback! I have been here since 1999! I've sold some really nice Hot Wheels of all types over the years and I have a few more. Feels free to ask questions...I don't mind. Thank you for taking the time to look at my beautiful Olds 442 Redline....I appreciate it! This Olds 442 will be shipped USPS Priority Mail and Insured for Delivery. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
